Our facilities and features
Student accommodation
We provide comfortable and cosy wooden cabin spaces for students to rest in after a day at Tallong – the bunk rooms sleep 12-16 students with bathroom facilities in each cabin and are a short walk to the dining hall and main buildings. There are six cabins that sleep 16 students and next to each of these is ensuite accommodation for visiting teachers. There are another four cabins that each sleep 12 students.
Staff accommodation
As well as staff rooms conveniently situated close by the student accommodation there are two designated staff buildings.
Girawin – our designated visiting school staff cabin sleeps eight in welcoming single beds (twin-share) plus a self-contained kitchen, bathrooms (twin-share), landline phone facilities, TV and Wi-Fi. It is an inviting space for staff to liaise with people, unwind and enjoy their time at Tallong.
Lemuah – our alternative staff accommodation sleeps 13 in shared rooms with shared bathroom facilities. The space also has a long dining table, self-contained kitchen, Wi-Fi, TV and a lovely view over the Tallong campus. Situated near the student accommodation, it is a suitable space for adults away from the energy of the cabins.
Staff rooms – the staff rooms attached to the student cabins contain private single-bed and ensuite bathroom facilities. They are located next to the students’ cabins for supervision and convenience.
